Before you buy

Be informed on the state of your property.    A pre-purchase building inspection is an inspection which is carried out on behalf of the purchaser prior to purchasing or bidding for a house at auction.  The Inspection Report is a written account of the condition of the property detailing any significant building defects or problems such as cracking, rising damp, safety issues, other major defects, as well as the extent of minor defects.  A combined building and termite inspection will also have information on termite infestation or damage.

The Process

Assured Inspections can arrange with the agent or vendor a time to carry out the inspection.  You do not need to be present during the inspection, but if you wish, you are welcome.  If you are unable or do not wish to attend, the inspector will call you once the inspection is completed and discuss the results with you in detail and then arrange to forward the written report before the end of the cooling-off period.
